On our first cruise to Alaska (Rhapsody of the Seas)the Osmond Brothers entertained for two full shows. They often would be in line at the lunch Buffet and would chat very nicely as they were filling their plates.They sure are great entertainers and very nice.

For all the boxing fans..we were on the inaugral

cruise of the Adventure and "Tito" Felix Tridad was onboard with 30 of his family members. I accidently went into a private party he was having with family.

Yes I remember chatting with you prior to our December cruise on Adventure. I did not see you at the Cruise Critic Meet and Mingle however. Then again I only attended once.

 

I was aware of the Star Trek cruise convention. I only mentioned Takei because he was near our cabin and had the chance to chat a couple of times with him.

Ronnie, I was signed up for the Meet&Mingle, but couldn't attend as there was a presentation about astroscience I didn't want to miss scheduled at the same time...

 

BTW, did you see that Beatles show called RAIN? They were great. Also, one of the artists apparently also is a Star Trek fan and someone from the entertainment staff arranged for him to meet George Takei before the show.

On our cruise on the Rhapsody of the Seas in March 1999 Frankie Avalon was onboard for two performances. The last night he gave autographs, we walked around the deck for awhile because the line was too long, came back around 11:00 pm and he was there all alone, so my wife and in-laws walked down to him, introduced ourselves and got our pictures taken with him. He is a Packers fan so that worked out well also. Very nice guy.

I actually had a TV Show filmed by "E" called "Latin America's Top Supermodel" filmed on my cruise last year, in May on the Voyager. The fianl 27 supermodels were competing for a $1 million modeling contract. Needless to say, I spent more time on the pool deck then I have on any other cruise

jstducky - Not only do I not know who he is, I don't even think he looks like anything other than an Average Joe! I have never seen any of those movies and have only heard of one (the "Phone Booth" and I do want to see that when it comes out on DVD - Whoops! My son just told me it has been out since last summer maybe). Oh well! You can tell I am really up on these young movie stars.

Anybody ever heard of Billy Crudup? He kind of has that same scruffy look.

Scotty Bowman (former NHL hockey coach) was on our Disney Wonder cruise a couple of years ago. He and his wife mixed with the masses and were very friendly. My then 10yo son had quite a conversation with him

Not on a cruise, and just to show how much I run into celebrities, but on our post cruise in Jan., 2004, just off the Brilliance and staying at the Trump sonesta. It seems Derek Jeter just left our room as we got it. No, didn't get to see him, seems we just missed him. Not that I recognized the name, but my DS and DH were very impressed!!
