QM2 Dec 19th Christmas / New Years

A group of us are booked on the QM2 for the Christmas/New Years cruise later this year. It would be great to hear from anyone else joining us.

The two of us are from Kansas City. Any hotel recommendations for Fort Lauderdale near the port?

Thats funny we have some aquantainces that also live in the Venice of the North whenever they visit they usually stay right in the airport, they bring a sleeping bag and just spread out for a few hours then freshen up and go right to the ship. They are kinda frugal, on hotels but they spend quite alot on hair prooducts, they might be sleepy but they look good.

Greetings!

We will be joining you on this trip. We're both looking forward to spending the Holidays in the warm South, relaxing and reading instead of all the frantic running around that usually exhausts us at this time of year. It's our first time on the QM2 - and our first Carribbean cruise. There have been FOD meetings on every other cruise we've been on and they're great fun - we've had a blast! Hopefully someone has requested the meetings for this cruise.
