Category 8D #8362 on Carnival Triumph

Hello All,

 

We are sailing on the Triumph on 11/30, and we purchased a Guarantee balcony for a great price. We have never sailed Carnival, and the last 2 cruises we have been on, we never had a balcony. So we are very much looking forward to whatever we get.

 

Now, when checking our cabin on the carnival website, we noticed that it had been updated with the following information -->

 

Category 8D #8362

 

But taking a look at the deck plans. stateroom 8362 is a Category 8C on deck 8 (verahndah), while Category 8D is on Deck9 (lido).

 

What do you think is going on?

Took a look at cruisedeckplans.com, and 8362 is cat 8D.

Do you think there is a lot of noise in this cabin since the Lido is right above it? I have a guarantee cabin and I was assigned one just down the hall from this one. I am worried about the noise.
