VacationsRme Posted October 5, 2008 #5 Share Posted October 5, 2008 I will be on Senation for B-Day on Nov. 9th. I have several questions. What excursion if any did you do in Freeport? What night is formal night? How big was the pool and did you have problems getting a chair on at sea day? Is there a adult only pool? Did you do something fun in Orlando before or after the cruise? Thanks so much!

carmi Posted October 7, 2008 Author #14 Share Posted October 7, 2008 Please post all you can. I will be on the Sensation 11/13 and it seems there is so little info about this ship on the boards. Hope you had a great time! I'll try, and your right, I didnt see much when I was searching on the boards.Basically its one of the oldest on the fleet.Somewhat dated kitchy decor(what carnival ship isnt?) but super well maintained, clean and staff are all pros!Friendly attentive and go out of thier way to accocmodate your needs. We had a Riviera midship oceanview and it was LARGE by stateroom standards. We were 2 adults and a 10 and 3 year old.had maid service once daily and turndown service every night.Room was kept CLEAN and in order by the stewards!I was impressed.( i have been in the hospitality industry for almost 30 years).I'll try to reply to the following posts as time allows ( remember the 3 and 10 year olds!!!! carmi Posted October 7, 2008 Author #16 Share Posted October 7, 2008 Pool is small (most are) didnt do excursion in Freeport.Took $5 pp taxi to beach behind the ISle of Capri casino.Public, not too crowded and clean as a whistle.Shopping in most of the Bahamas is kitschy coconut stuff.you wont miss much if you dont shop.Save your snorkelling excursions for NAssau.Better opportunities there.Deck chairs werent a prob , even though weather was great!Orlando?Fun?LOL I could write pages on Orlando. MUST do Disney, then Universal, then Seaworld etc.....
