Transportation to port

Our first cruise is next week, and I am looking for a bit of advice.

 

We are staying in the South Beach Hotel on the 11th and we are sailing on the 12th Oct, Can anyone give me some idea how far away we are and how much it will cost us to get to the port?

Take a taxi, should be less than $20.

we leave from miami at the end of the month and are staying right near there I believe south beach is about 4 miles from the pier, should cost approx 15$ and the taxis are plentiful at the hotel, you shouldnt need to make any special arrangements however you could also let the front desk know the night before and have one waiting for you.
