Car Hire from Vancouver Pier

I have tried to find out which Pier Ballantyne or Canada place Infinity will be leaving from in May 2009. Does anyone know? Which car hire firm has the easiest arrangements from this pier given it is hard to know when we will be disembarking? Help would we appreciated:confused:

We used Avis which is not too far from Canada Place. There used to be an Enterprise Car Rental on Hastings St. not to far from Ballantyne.

Celebrity's ships tended to use Ballantyne pier this season with the odd exception. I am attaching a link for the schedule of ships but you will need to check back latter this year or early next when it is updated to reflect the 2009 schedule. There are no car rental kiosks at Ballantyne and Avis, Budget and National have kiosks at Canada Place. However all of the aforementioned as well as Hertz, Alamo and Enterprise will pick you up at Ballantyne and shuttle you to a downtown location. Budget actually has a location within a few blocks of Ballantyne but as it is in rather a seedy area walking to it is not recommended.

We rented a car from Avis at the kiosk in the Canada Place. They take you in a van to the place where the cars are. We drove the car to Seattle and exchanged it there for a car that we kept a wk. It's too expensive to keep a one-way rental from Canada.
