SirBeavis Posted October 12, 2008 #2 Share Posted October 12, 2008 You can check out this site for info for Canadians traveling abroad. http://www.voyage.gc.ca/ You should be aware that some countries that normally require visas will waive the requirement for Cruise passengers. You should call Costa direct and ask.
SirBeavis Posted October 12, 2008 #3 Share Posted October 12, 2008 One more thing, if the country is part of the EU, you will not require a visa.
sea-explorer Posted October 12, 2008 #4 Share Posted October 12, 2008 You definately require a visa for St. Petersburg, the other countries should be fine. You can avoid the need to get personal visas in St Petersburg if you either take a ship's shore excursion where the ship will obtain a blanket visa for all, or book with an independent tour company (alla, denrus, red october etc) who will arrange all the paperwork for immigration for you. You will not be allowed to leave the ship here unless you either have your own visas or have booked a tour as indicated above.
