Grocery or Walgreen type store in San Fran?

Hi everyone,

We are heading to San Fran this Sunday - October 12 for our Mexican Riviera cruise with NCL. We are travelling with a 16 month old and are staying at the Sheraton Fisherman Warf. Are any grocery stores or a Walgreen type store within walking distance from this hotel? Also, does anyone know of any "to-go" type of restaurants close by- something like TGI Fridays or somewhere that we could order some food to take back to the hotel?

there is a safeway store just a couple of blocks away (do google search for safeway san francisco north point.)

 

there are plenty of places that deliver food--just check the phone book. you could also go out--there are plenty of causal places and almost everywhere is kid friendly.

 

we have very few chain stores in that part of sf--just a few--so I would get out and wander around...pier 39 will have something you would like.

Hi, I would echo nna's comment--Pier 39 and Fisherman's Wharf all have stuff to go, and even if you don't care for fish, you should be able to find something good. Have fun!

There is also a Walgreen's and a Trader Joe's near your hotel. If you go to their websites you can get maps and addresses.

On Bay St. -- 350 (?) Bay St. Ask your hotel. Safeway & Walgreen are side by side. As you enter the North Point Center, you will first see Walgreen from the outside and then see Safeway!
