badora Posted October 7, 2008 #1 Share Posted October 7, 2008 I know it's first come first serve and a crapshoot but was just curious if anyone out there was unsuccessful purchasing them when you arrived?

Since Atlantis is running at only 25% capacity these days.. I'm sure you won't have a problem getting a day pass. If you are there for Thanksgiving week.. or around the holiday.. that may be a different story.
bobsmyhubby Posted October 7, 2008 #3 Share Posted October 7, 2008 We just got back from Atlantis last week. I noticed the DIG tour offered an upgrade to Aquaventure for an additional $45 per adult and $35 or $25 per child.
Donna - dsw Posted October 7, 2008 #4 Share Posted October 7, 2008 bobsmyhubby - What was the toal cost per person then for the dig and aqua adventure?
bobsmyhubby Posted October 7, 2008 #5 Share Posted October 7, 2008 I think the "DIG" is $35 per adult not sure about the child rate though. That would be approx. $80 per adult. We visited Altantis via CS. As we were walking thru the aquarium we overheard the Atlantis guides offering the upgrade to the waterpark. Unfortunately, I misplaced the flyer from Altantis that explains the upgrade. Hopefully someone who has done the tour can shed some more light on this.:o

What is the "Dig"? How would go about booking a day pass??? Thanks
badora Posted October 7, 2008 Author #7 Share Posted October 7, 2008 I have heard you can purchase a day pass at the casino that day and thought it was $105. There's just two of us going so to book through the cruise is over $300 and to book a room at CS is $225 plus all the taxes and fees. This seemed like the affordable option though I hear the scare tactic of limited passes so my original question is whether it's a scare tactic and have people shown up and been SOL cause they don't have passes.
