doglips Posted October 9, 2008 #5 Share Posted October 9, 2008 James, just been browsing your homepage (quiet morning at work, no bodies). Some of the images seem awfully familiar & Im fairly certain I've seen copies in a gastropub (think it was called The Angel) in Bowness on Windermere. Were they yours? garigoun Posted October 9, 2008 #6 Share Posted October 9, 2008 Superb pix Jimmy. Some of the best I've seen. They could almost make me fond of the old tub. Gari.

Some of the images seem awfully familiar & Im fairly certain I've seen copies in a gastropub (think it was called The Angel) in Bowness on Windermere. Were they yours?GM Not unless my "fame" has spread a great deal more widely than I had thought! Last time I visited the Lakes the gastropub concept hadn't even been thought of! In any case I'd guess that they are unlikely to be mine as the images on the site are deliberately very low resolution to prevent people printing them. I' wouldn't have though it would be possible to print anything much larger than 6" x 4" and even that would look pretty crappy. Were there any particularl images that looked familiar? Cruachan Posted October 9, 2008 Author #9 Share Posted October 9, 2008 Superb pix Jimmy. Some of the best I've seen. They could almost make me fond of the old tub. Gari. You are too kind G. Perhaps if Ms Marlow is looking in, she might link a print or two for her office wall. My charges are low - 14 days on QM2 should cover it (itinerary not important). doglips Posted October 9, 2008 #11 Share Posted October 9, 2008 Were there any particularl images that looked familiar? Jimmy Can't find it now( pressure of works increasing), but, if you'll forgive the technical description, the one that sticks in my mind was an orange tankerish thingy, moored midriver. doglips Posted October 9, 2008 #13 Share Posted October 9, 2008 Sorry, but the Alzheimer's has kicked in. I'll probably remember more about 02.00. Superb pix Jimmy. Some of the best I've seen. supered Posted October 9, 2008 #15 Share Posted October 9, 2008 It was indeed Eddie - unusually fine for Tynemouth. It wouldn't have been hard to get better weather than when she was on the Forth! Boy was it wet and windy. Eddie :)
