What is Casino's at Sea

I seem to have missed the mark here. I was not inquiring about a cruise discount. I understand that you can't discount FREE. My inquiry was in reference to the CAS free drink card. Sorry if I was not clear.

Trying to understand to the CAS/Harrahs connection to the free drink card. I think I will call CAS and inquire. Nothing ventured-nothing gained. :)

OBC is just another way to discount a cruise. OBC is real money, so if you already have a free cabin, there is nothing left to discount.???

Agreed, but those OBCs can sure come in handy for all the other expenditures ;) . But I would think that OBC *might* apply to a CAS discounted cruise - if I were meiyakim, I would call and ask, can't hurt!

Katriniakat - Sorry, we were answering another posters question. As for your drink card, I really have no idea. Harrah's has offered me free cruises, but I do much better booking direct through CAS so I haven't booked one yet. This relationship is so new that I am not sure if anyone on this board has done a freebie yet. Harrah's has just started a mass promotion for free NCL cruises and I would expect there will be a lot more feedback in the coming months. CAS will expect a certain amount of play for providing the freebie. If you meet that expectation, you will become a CAS guest and certainly be invited back. If not, it will be a one-time deal. But for the first trip, your guess is as good as mine whether you will be provided a VIP card. My guess is that you will.

we booked and received the full CAS discount. Have any of you had luck with the new specials getting a further obc booking through CAS we are sailing dec 08 and already payed in full

I have no idea if you can get the OBC with the sales that are going on since final payment has passed, but it's worth a phone all at least.

I do know that if final payment hasn't been made, the OBC's are available as I got $300 for our suite, and $100 latitudes OBC on our June 2009 cruise which I had previously booked via CAS.

Good luck!
