I am confused about how to dress

We are taking our first cruise in less than three weeks on the Majesty to the western Caribean. I understand perfectly how to dress for dinner but it is the other meals I am not sure about. Is it also not right to wear shorts for breakfast and lunch? Any help you can give me would be appreciated.

Thanks,

In all the cruises we ever took it was perfectly fine to wear shorts and t-shirts to the dining rooms for breakfast and lunch....just no bathing suits unless it's under cover ups of course. Breakfast and lunches are treated very casually.

Normally the only time one would not wear shorts is for dinner.
