I keep seeing reference the " department like" stores on the Dawn. Can anyone tell me what I may expect to find in this part of the ship.

The usual NCL wear, liquor, cigarettes, trinkets, carmeras, perfume, jewelry, Tommy Bahamma clothes.......

It's a pretty good sized store, quite nice, but it is pricey, except the booze. Some great deals on liquor! I understand the Galleria is run by a vendor from Canada, and the staff is not employed by NCL. Each department mentioned by Shoreguy has a fair amount of floor space, like a jewelry counter, perfume area, T-shirts & related, and the upscale clothing section.

 

In addition to the items listed, I reall they have a few snack items like chips/peanuts, and beach toys for the kids, and a few NCL logo markdowns.

Don't buy anything until the very end of the cruise. The prices continue to go down as the cruise draws to an end. Resist buying early!

 

They do run some "specials" during the trip... for instance, they had a pick any Tanzanite stone in the case (regardless of shape or weight) for $299 (I think that was the price).

If you buy the alcohol in the store, can you bring it back to your room or are you forced to have it given to you at the end of the trip?
