Alaska Menus/New Princess Menus

Are the menus any different for Alaska sailings than they are for the Caribbean sailings on Princess? I'm hoping to see more of a local flair but I might have to get that off the ship.

 

Also does anyone know if Princess is planning on updating or changing the menus anytime soon? I sailed to Europe last August and the Caribbean this past April and got pretty much the same menu. I am hoping they are going to change things up a bit soon!

 

Any information will be greatly appreciated!
