Casablanca: need help!

I will be on a cruise to Casablanca in December and am thinking about what shore exursion to do. In order to avoid the badly overpriced tours that the cruise offers: does anybody know a private travel company that offers shore excursions in Casablanca? I have not decided yet what to do... visit Casablanca only? Is this easy to do on your own? Visit Marrakech? Or is Rabat more interesting? Any comments are welcome.

I have responded to similar questions many times in these boards. If you do a search for postings by me, these should come up.

 

Marrakech is far more more interesting than Rabat, by the way (in my humble opinion, at least).

We just did the Marrakech excursion with Grand Princess in Sept 2008. I really enjoyed the day and was glad to have gone to Marrakech. If you click on my name at the top you can go to other posts by me, where I also mention a bit more detail.

We did a land tour of Morocco which included all three of those cities. It is hard to pick just one.
