Union Discount

Is it only certain unions that get a discount? They said I needed to fax my union card and then wait to find out if it was accepted. Mine is a Michigan Education Association.

Did you call the Union Desk directly, they can tell you? Also see this link. The phone number is there.

my pcc practically begged me to take the union discount, she asked if I had ever been in a union (retired 6 years ago) and said I just needed to bring an old paystub that showed I had paid union dues!!!

Bizarre to me, I kept saying I hadn't paid dues in 6 years but she said I was eligible.

Should I be concerned?

My mother is a teacher and is a member of her union. She will be sailing with me in August of next year. She is listed as the 3rd person in the cabin. Will she be able to get a discount, or is it only for the 1st and 2nd person in the room?

I booked the cruise thru an online website and not thru ncl directly. Anyway, I did not know that union people get a discount. I called the website travel site and they called ncl. Supposedly the discount is only given if you mention you are a union member at the time of booking. So now i don't get the discount!

I am upset. That was going to be a 10% discount. Can anyone tell me if they got a discount after booking? Or did you tell them you are union at the time of booking?

Thanks in advance.

You could transfer your booking to NCL direct. They will be happy to help you in anyway possible to get the best pricing, including a union discount. I was in a union umpteen years ago (a Union Steward) and I receive a discount.
