Parking in Long Beach Ca

I am going on a cruise 12-14-08. I am driving out there and need to park my car while away. I see that the pier has parking for 12.00 per day. Anyone found a better or cheaper place to park?

Don't know if there is anything cheaper, but when you park at that lot you are literally at the terminal. Nice covered parking. You just walk your bags over to the porter and check in either at the Queen Mary if you are early enough or wait in the regular line.

I park in the structure, its right there in the terminal. Didn't see any nearby parking lot in the area.

You may need to check but when we went, we stayed Sat. night at the Coast hotel. They let us keep our car at the hotel free for the week. $5.00 for their van and they drop you off at the ship and pick you up when you're back.

 

The waiting area before you get into the dome is now undergoing renovation. Looked pretty messed up, don't know what they'll be doing with the crowds.

I agree, stay at the Coast Hotel, its right there about 1/4 mile from the port. They let you park your car there for free, while you cruise. They also include a free breakfast buffet, and shuttle to and from the port. And its a very nice hotel property.
