Thanks for the pics! Can you tell us if any of the issues concerning unfinished drydock work that plagued the last couple of cruises still exist? Thanks for any info you can provide on this.

Great Shots! Thanks for sharing these. We are first time cruisers who will be sailing the Fantasy in June 2009. If you don't mind me asking, what type of room was that and on what level? We have a penthouse suite on the upper deck - U83 and U87.

Also, most of the shots you took had no one in sight, where were all the people? Just wondering!

Thanks for posting, it looks nice, the palm trees are a lot different then what they had on the Imagination. But I noticed there were no ping pong tables, this is a real bummer, first they did away with the basket ball court, now the ping pong tables, limits activitis for our boys on sea days.

Your pictures are great. Did you have a good time? Does it seem that some of the problems have been worked out from the first sailing after drydock. Did the ship look fresh and new? How was the food and crew? Were ther still lots of complaints from the passengers. Thanks

The cc review of the fantasy on this site is a joke. The Fantasy is by no means perfect, and that review is nothing more than a fluff piece by someone who obviously received something free to do that review.

In my opinion, Carnival pushed the Fantasy back into service before she was finished. She still has issues that need to be delt with. Miami needs to send a go team in there to oversee the remaining issues.

Did we have fun? Yes we did! I may have set my expectations a little to high going into this cruise. I thought she would be sparkling coming out of dry dock. As I stated in my other post, she is 20 years old. She is starting to grey a little. LOL.

Not to worry for all who will be sailing her, you will have a good time. I have full confidence in Carnival to address her remaining issues. I am a huge fan of Carnival, and I continue to be.

I took pictures early in the mornings, or on port days. We didn't get off the ship in Progresso. Nice relaxing day aboard.

Our cabin was on the upper level just forward of the suites. My only complaint is that Carnival removed the indirect lighting above the desk area. It is dark, and my wife complained about dim lighting to put makeup on by.

New flatscreen t.v.'s . Check out channel 40.

It is a view of the main pool area. I wish Carnival would uplink this to a webcam that we could view on line. The new L.E.D. lighting in the pool area is a vast improvement and cool at night.

Just to let you know, the ping pong tables are still there :)

Thanks for the pics. They made me feel a bit better about my two upcoming cruises on this ship (never cruised before). After I read the first review posted after the upgrades I was getting a little nervous. I don't expect the ship to be perfect considering her age, but that review really sounded awful! What was your experience?

Thanks again :o

They still have the ping pong table it's just been moved to the veranda deck outside of the lobby.

Thanks for the pics. I have one question. I saw on photo 140 the Harrah's Banner near the ceiling. Has Harrah's taken over running the casion operation?

Good eye Volz. I never noticed that. Probably Harrah's pay an advertising fee to hang that banner for Harrah's in NOLA. Which I will be staying at Oct 22. Would be great if Harrah's did take over the casino ops cause I get lots of nice comps from Harrahs.

Nice to see you are not a fair weather Vol Fan-kind of hard to be a Vol fan this year isn't it? We are big Alabama fans and its nice to be able to say it loud and proud for a change.
