Good eye Volz. I never noticed that. Probably Harrah's pay an advertising fee to hang that banner for Harrah's in NOLA. Which I will be staying at Oct 22. Would be great if Harrah's did take over the casino ops cause I get lots of nice comps from Harrahs.

 

Nice to see you are not a fair weather Vol Fan-kind of hard to be a Vol fan this year isn't it? We are big Alabama fans and its nice to be able to say it loud and proud for a change.

 

Please let me know if they have changed over to Harrah's. It would help in racking up a few extra promos.

 

Nah don't think I could be a fair weather fan. Yes it is hard this year to look for bright spots in the season but we will turn it around maybe next year but it will get back on track. Alabama fans do have a lot to happy about this year and rightfully so. I still hope that UT can pull and upset this weekend but probably not.

Sure hope it's a good game this weekend...that would mean a Bama win of course!! ;) We have a group of 18 going down to the beach for the weekend since it's not a home game for us...we'll be watching it all on the TV!! But, I'm sure they'll be able to hear us in Knoxville!

Thanks for the pics. I have one question. I saw on photo 140 the Harrah's Banner near the ceiling. Has Harrah's taken over running the casion operation?

 

We never really found out for certain. We suspected that it was either Harrah's employees, or Harrah's high rollers. Some of the suites on the upper deck had signs over the doors that said Harrah's, Horseshoe, Caesar's, VIP's.

Harrah's sometimes does cruise promotions on Carnival. The parent company of Harrahs is Apollo. Apollo is a large share holder in NCL. We just got a promotion letter from NCL for us to sign up for the Total Rewards card at Harrah's. We would also get a buy one/get one meal plus get 500 points on the card.

 

Casinos at Sea will accept your land based casino cards. They will check your ratings and if acceptable you could be comp'd a cruise or get one at a discounted price. If you do extremely well in the casino as far as play, you could be comp'd another cruise as well as having a money credit waiting on you. Also for booking through Casinos at Sea, you would get a bar card for unlimited drinks in the casino.

They still have the ping pong table it's just been moved to the veranda deck outside of the lobby.

 

 

Thanks for the info, was this on the Imagination or the Fantasy? I wonder if all of the refurbed ships will have them in the same place.
