Judi2112 Posted October 20, 2008 #1 Share Posted October 20, 2008 My husband John and I will be sailing onboard Vision of the Seas on 21st December 2009 for 7 nights. As we have not been on a cruise ship on Christmas Day before we were just wondering what to expect. Is Christmas Day treated as special or just another day? fkfad Posted October 20, 2008 #2 Share Posted October 20, 2008 We've been on a couple of Christmas cruises, however, both were on NCL ships... They were both wonderful! Christmas day was special in that the dinner service was "Christmasy", there was a special Christmas show, Santa Claus made an appearance with gifts for the kids, and the decorations were beautiful! My DS (15 yo) still talks about the awesome gingerbread displays (there were a lot of them and they were beautiful (and smelled good too))... If a 15 yo notices such a thing, you can imagine how awe-inspiring they were! :-) In fact, I am trying to talk my DH into another (last minute) Christmas cruise this year!
