use of steam rooms?

We are traveling on the Sun Dec 7th. I am wondering if there are steam rooms on the ship and if so are they are free of charge, like on RCI or have to pay like on Princess? Thanks everyone. We are getting really excited to experience freestyle cruising.

i had the question. i will be going on my first cruise in january on the ncl spirit. i was told by members on this site that the sauna and steam room can be used FREE of charge.

The Sun doesn't have any self service laundry/iron rooms but you can call reception by dialing 00 and just ask for an iron and they will bring this to your room. This is the case for all NCL ships.

I think the poster meant "Steam Room", as the one located inside the beauty/massage spa area of the ship.

I know they are free on Spirit and Pride of America, but I have heard on some ships with bigger spas, there is fee. I don't know which ships.
