We are taking a cruise on the Pride out of Long Beach in Feb. 2009. I need some help 1. Hows the best way to get from LAX to Long Beach.

2. How long can I expect it to take to get from LAX to Long Beach.

3. How long will it take to get ON Ship once I get there.

4. How long will it take to get OFF Ship when we get back.

#1 - Least expensive way to travel from LAX to Long Beach is probably the Carnival Shuttle.

#2 - Travel time from LAX to Long Beach - 30-45 minutes.

#3 - How long to board the Pride - if you don't arrive in time for the early inprocessing at the Queen Mary, it is a crapshoot - could be 1.5 to 3 hours.

#4 - How long to disembark - 30-45 minutes if you are among the first to disembark. If you wait until you are called and avoid the initial rush, it happens pretty quickly. Everyone is usually off the ship by 10:30-11:00am.:)

Not trying to hijack the thread but it does relate to the topic.

Does anyone know what the cab fare would be? I have three people and I am thinking that one cab would be less expensive than three transfers.

Thanks,

Mike

The travel info supplied above is correct.

The last time we left from Long Beach, the check in line went out of the terminal and down the street (at least 3 hours). But Long Beach does have a great check in area for suite passengers. We walked right past the people standing out in the sun into a cool seating area where they served soft drinks and coffee while we waited (which was only about 10 mins.).

This alone was almost worth the price of the suite!
