Need Your Help, Question On La Romana, Dr

We are going to La Romana, DR on Splendor leaving in 30 Days :D. I would like to get some feed back on this port, any good excursions etc.. what we can do. Need your help.....

I'm been asking this very question and it appears that most of the response on this board is negative for this port. However, I was reading other website that wasn't so negative.

 

We are on the 6 Dec Splendor so we are one week past yours. But I would really like to hear from anyone that is going on the Splendor in November that stops there.

 

Also, the Carnival website hasn't listed any excursions for this port yet. We usually don't take excursions, but usually just like to walk out and either negotiate on our own and just walk around town, shop and eat local food.
