Day Pass To Hotels In Barbados

Hi,
We will be on the Dawn Princess in November and after looking at various postings on this board we are quite interested in getting a day pass to a really nice hotel on the beach, not too far from port.
As anyone done this? If so is there a hotel you could recommend. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I cannot believe how fantastic and informative this board is. This is our 11th. cruise and in the past we have just got off the ship had a quick wander around town, then got back on board. After reading all the activities people get up to on these boards I feel we have wasted our opportunities.
With the help of all the information on CC we have now planned our activities for the various ports and I am taking with me a list that I have noted places of interest and tips for taxi's etc, so thankyou all.
