Can Canadians buy Carnival Stock?

I've been hunting for a broker or somewhere where we can purchase some Carnival shares. No luck so far and some US places won't deal with Canada.

 

I'd really prefer to deal with someone in Canada, but now I'm wondering if I'm even allowed to buy the stock.

 

Are there any Canadians out there that have purchased Carnival stock and if so, can you please steer me in the right direction or email me to discuss?

 

I don't think I'm breaking any board rules by asking this question and if I am, please forgive me. It's not intentional. I'm just getting frustrated looking for sources.

I purchased Carnival stock through my major bank - brokerage. TD.

You need to set up an online account with a broker in Canada. One such company is Interactive Brokers. You can buy just about any security on the globe.

Thank you!!! I happen to have an account with CIBC so I'll go and talk to them.

 

I did see the interactive brokers but thought they weren't dealing with Canadians anymore. I'd rather have a real face to go and talk to so I will go to the bank.
