Cancun Airport Transfers to Hotels

Although my favorite vacations are cruises, my wife and I are flying to Cancun next week and staying 5 nights at Secrets Silversands Resort in Puerto Morales. Does anyone have experience taking a taxi or shuttle from the Cancun airport to a beach hotel?

Most people arrange their transportation ahead of time, either through their resort or through a private company. Puerto Morelos is a bit further than Cancun and I am not as familiar with getting there than I am the Cancun Hotel Zone.

 

I know the ADO is an option, but can not tell you how to go about that. Another would be a private shuttle. You may want to try the Trip Advisor Puerto Morelos forum. PM Frank, the destination expert, may be able to help ya out.

to Puerto Morelos, or did they give you the Cancun rate?

according to that site, one way to Puerto Morelos is $23 per person.

We used this transportation on our trip this week. While the price was right and the service very clean and polite my only beef was the confusion and wait for the ride from the airport to our hotel.
