lynnw68 Posted October 24, 2008 #1 Share Posted October 24, 2008 Just back from Breezes, if anybody has any questions, I'll try to answer them. We really enjoyed ourselves, it was nice to be able to sit back and relax. There were no wild partys going on while we were there, it really seemed to be an older crowd. My only complaint was the water in the pools was kinda cool, but I guess that comes with the time of year. It was overcast while we were there but nothing you can do about that. phredt Posted October 24, 2008 #2 Share Posted October 24, 2008 I've heard good things about Breezes. We'll be there in two weeks on the Sensation. Is the cost still $55 with coupon? How were the food and drinks? Are towels supplied or did you bring one from the ship? Did you do a taxi or Jitney? Thanks for the info. (BTW, How was the Sensation?) phredt Posted October 24, 2008 #3 Share Posted October 24, 2008 What is that rope contraption next to the rock climbing wall?
lynnw68 Posted October 25, 2008 Author #4 Share Posted October 25, 2008 I'm not sure about the cost, one of the girls in our group is a travel agent and we were able to get a discount. Last I heard, it was $55 with a coupon. Food and drinks were good. We just ate at the poolside grill, they had hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken, fish, salads, and nachos. Never did check out the buffet inside. We brought our own towels from the ship, I didn't see anyplace there with towels. We took the bus there and a taxi back. The bus ride is a $1, the taxi ride was $5 each (there were 4 of us). The rope contraption next to the rock climbing wall is the trapeze, only saw one person get up there all day. Several people used the rock climbing wall. If anybody has any more questions, I'll do my best to answer them. Oh yeah, I thought the Sensation was great, here are some pics-http://good-times.webshots.com/album/568259562YhdHPO

SimplyAddicted Posted October 30, 2008 #7 Share Posted October 30, 2008 I was considering visiting Breezes on my upcoming cruise. I heard from someone their is an minimum age for kids. Do you know if this is accurate?
lynnw68 Posted October 30, 2008 Author #8 Share Posted October 30, 2008 We didn't see any kids when we were there. I have heard there is an age limit, it may have to do with the time of year.
caskar Posted November 2, 2008 #9 Share Posted November 2, 2008 This hotel is adult only. We stayed here for a week for a wedding. The food is horrible. The drinks are slushie machines with a shot of cheap rum. The pools are filthy dirty. The activities only run at certain times and then are subject to staff deciding if it will open and to whom they will let us it. The entire hotel has some serious issues with cleanliness. That said Cable Beach was beautiful, white sand and the ocean was clean and rock free however not good for snorkeling. I would suggest walking into Crystal Beach Casino and Hotel to access the beach.
