Hello, I hope you had a great time. Did you post a review? We will be on the Sensation Nov 9-13 I think it is sold out then. I have a few questions. How was the food? Did it smell like a sewer as some posters here mention? How was the pool area? Is there a adults only area? Any info will help. Thanks again

Thanks so much for the pics....We're sailing on her for Thanksgiving, really looking forward to it. What deck was your cabin on, presuming that was your cabin in the picture? Are there any lounges that have window seating?

Thanks :)

O.k, let me see if I can answer all the questions!

-The deli, grill, and pizza were great. Only ate at the buffet for breakfast and it was o.k. Others in our group ate at the buffet for lunch and said it was good. Never made it to the dining room for breakfast or lunch. Had late seating in the Ecstasy dining room ( made it the first three nights but missed the last). I thought the food was very good, esp the lobster, prime rib, and sweet n sour shrimp. Somebody in our group said the streak (I'm not sure what night) wasn't that good, but that was the only complaint I heard. Service was o.k, about what I've experienced before (this was our 4th Carnival cruise) except for our bar waitress. She was excellent, we would actually see her 3 or 4 times during the meal.

-The only place I noticed a sewer smell was sometimes out on our friends balcony on the upper deck although never in their cabin. Never did smell it in our room, which was a outside cabin on the main deck (M180). My boyfriend said he noticed it several times near the Mirage bar at the casino and on lido deck. Didn't hear anybody else mention smelling anything.

-There were three pools-one on the lido deck, one aft on the verandah, and the kid's pool aft on the promenade deck. I didn't use the pools but I never noticed them being crowded. As far as I know, there isn't an adults only area at this time.

-Freeport-we went to Port Lucaya Marketplace and checked out the shops and bars. Right across the street is the casino and the beach. Some of our friends took a nature/kayak tour and said it was great. I'm not sure if it was through Carnival or somebody else.

Nassau-we spent the day at Breezes which I enjoyed very much, it was very relaxing, no wild parties going on. Some other things other people in our group did were tour the city with a taxi driver, day pass at Sandals, and a kayak tour. The only bad thing I heard was about the kayak tour, said the water was extremely rough.

-I think the Polo lounge had window seating but I'm not possitive. I'm pretty sure none of the other lounges did.

Oh, Indianamale, I am pretty sure our ship was full too. The only time I noticed the crowds being bad was the last day in the shops. I would suggest if you want to do some shopping on the ship, do it early instead of the last day. Otherwise, the lines at the buffet and grill seemed to move fast and were never excessive. Also never noticed it being really crowded at the pools. Have fun! I wish we were going back with you!

If there are any more questions let me know.:)

We thought the food and service especially exceptional on the Sensation. We are booked again for next summer, she gets her evolutions of fun upgrades in Jan, I am really looking forward to it.

We also did Port Lucaya, we spent time on the beach where they have water sports you can purchase and a bar/chonch/food stand right on the beach, our kids enjoyed the water trampoline and the banana boat. They have water skiing and parasailing as well.

We booked a room at Comfort Suites for access to Atlantis for the day, this was a big hit with everyone in our group of 20.
