kGCAL Posted October 25, 2008 #1 Share Posted October 25, 2008 How do you book your hotels in Seattle? Through expedia or priceline? We are taking an early season cruise next year with RT out of Seattle so we can visit those port cities we missed last time. Our goal is to get a 4 star hotel within $120/nt. I am wondering whether it is possible during cruise season.
neecee23 Posted October 25, 2008 #2 Share Posted October 25, 2008 I would start looking now. If you want to stay downtown, you may get a four star with Priceline, but not Expedia. Hotels are very expensive downtown. Check out biddingfortravel.com for ideas on Priceline hotels and prices. Priceline would be your best bet to get a four star for the price you want. Otherwise you could check hotels around the airport. Also, read through the Seattle FAQ thread by Seattlecruiselover. BIG thread but lots of helpful tips. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=720705

DisneyScrapper Posted October 25, 2008 #4 Share Posted October 25, 2008 For our Sept trip this year I got the Seattle Sheraton for $115 thur Priceline-precruise and Hotel Vintage for $112 thur Hotwire postcruise. I like the Sheraton better. Good Luck
knorrisb07 Posted October 26, 2008 #5 Share Posted October 26, 2008 You need to use Priceline and follow the advice on biddingfortravel to set up strategy on a successful bidding.
