Vampire Parrot Posted October 26, 2008 #2 Share Posted October 26, 2008 If you are going to go into the bars, take lots of money! Alcoholic drinks in Norway are *expensive*. VP
CASPALL Posted October 26, 2008 #3 Share Posted October 26, 2008 We had a weekend in Bergen and ate at a couple of the seafront restaurants. The food was expensive and the wine even more so. A bottle of bog-standard white cost almost £60, but you could get a cheap bottle for £45 !!! The prices were a bit more reasonable up through the town. A burger/ sandwich lunch in a cafe/bar cost us £30 for 2. The bars we passed by at night were nearly all empty.
