The Wizard of Waz Posted October 25, 2008 #1 Share Posted October 25, 2008 I was in Aruba quite a few years ago on a cruise. We rented a jeep (the ONLY way to go and toured the island ourselves. During our journey we stopped at a beachside restaurant down towards the southern tip of the island. Very local, large. They served us what was caught that morning. Anyone know of such a place? If not, any recommendations for an out of the way restaurant. We will be back on another cruise in a few weeks and I want to rent a jeep and do the same thing! westgatelakes Posted November 4, 2008 #2 Share Posted November 4, 2008 I was in Aruba quite a few years ago on a cruise, but I can't really tell you of a good restaurant on the water front, but I'm sure that you will find alot of them there. SanNic44 Posted November 5, 2008 #3 Share Posted November 5, 2008 Perhaps it was the Flying Fishbone. Photos are on my blog under the Aruba Restaurant Category.
psynurse Posted November 5, 2008 #4 Share Posted November 5, 2008 Hi Wizard and San- We also went to the Flying Fishbone several years ago. Was a great experience if go around sunset. You sit at small tables in the water without shoes. As the sun goes down, there are sofas to sit on with the sun behind you. Food very good, romantic, there for our honeymoon. We had stayed at the Radisson and plan on going from the ship back there as a great beach. enjoy
