darchibald Posted November 3, 2004 #1 Share Posted November 3, 2004 Hello everyone, The boards here seem to be very helpful. I am in need of help. First of all my normal everyday dress at work is jeans and t-shirt (network administrator and tend to sweat more than other workers), at home, shorts or sweats and t-shirt. My girlfriend and I will be on RCCL's Majesty on November 15th. So I had to go and do the most fearfull thing known to mankind!!!!!! I went and bought a suit (charcoal gray but on the darker side). My g/f does have a sense of fashion and she tells me that she can match whatever I wear ( I guess that women are more adaptive then men). She went out an bought me three dress shirts, white, grey, blue (somewhat royal). Are any of these the right colors? Suggestions? Is she going to make me look funny? Also, for the casual times, I have Docker pants, shorts, and polo shirts. I would assume that this will be exceptable? Any suggestions you have would be greatly appreciated. :)

StellaRN Posted November 3, 2004 #3 Share Posted November 3, 2004 Trust her, she wants you to look good!! The colors sound fine. I bet you look great. Have a great cruise!
bUU Posted November 3, 2004 #4 Share Posted November 3, 2004 I'll be wearing my dark grey suit, with a royal blue banded collar shirt. It's a great color. White is fine for work, wedding and funerals. Grey -- well that's gutsy IMHO. It needs to be a compatible grey to the grey of your suit. I'd let my wife dress me, but I think sometimes she would make me look funny, just as a joke! :D
Happy ks Posted November 3, 2004 #5 Share Posted November 3, 2004 I don't know your girlfriends sense of humor, but any of those shirt colors sound acceptable to me.
nosnobunny Posted November 3, 2004 #6 Share Posted November 3, 2004 You are a very wise man to stick with your g/f's choices. Like you said yourself, she has a sense of style. Go with it. :D Beth
