Athens-Princess excursion

Originally we had a private drive but that got canceled. So we were told to go it alone and take the metro. Had second thoughts about that so we decided to book Ancient & Modern Athens/Zorba Style excursion through Princess. Glad we did. Metro was on strike that day!!! AND no taxis to be had. Traffic was horrendous. Stand still most of the time. We went to the Acropolis which was very crowed. Alot of walking up/down steps and through rubble. Also the Old Olympic Stadium along with 90 min through the Plaka for shopping. Sorry to say, for us at least, once you saw one vendor with "XYZ" 5 doors down was the same product. It followed by lunch around 2 pm at a restaurant with traditional Greek dishes and dancing. This was a great way to end the day!

Sounds similar to the Acropolis tour we took on our 2003 Golden Princess cruise. Glad you enjoyed it.
