Shore Excursions on the Jewel in the Baltic

We are taking the 12day Baltic trip out of Dover and are looking for tips on Shore Excursions, particularly from Warnemunde to Berlin and also in St. Peterburg. Any suggestions? We are in a BD category, should we upgrade to BC or BB? We appreciate any help you can offer.

We did the Baltic a year ago and let me tell you....amazing is only way to discribe. We meet some people on the rollcalls and set up independent tours which I higly recomend. We did SO MUCH more than we could have with the ship tours. In Berlin we used Original Berlin Walking Tours (No you don't have to walk everywere) and in Russia we had Alla Tours. Both were great.
