CruisersfromMD Posted October 30, 2008 #1 Share Posted October 30, 2008 MY DH and I will be sailing on the Valor in a few weeks, stopping in Belize. Neither of us have ever been there. I was wondering if anyone has done any of these Carnival excursions. Altun Ha Mayan Site & River Wallace ($71) 6 Hours This excursion is actually two amazing tours rolled into one. It's a cruise down the Belize River and a journey to the ancient ceremonial center of Altun Ha. Private Island Beach Break ($43) 4 Hours Escape to a private island resort to soak up the sun on the beautiful azure coast of Belize. May no longer available in Belize as they weren't on the Carnival site whne we opened up our account by logging in. ?? Belikin Brewery - "A Taste of Belize" 3.5 Hours Enjoy excellent company, delightful local music and Belizean beer. ?? Canoeing, Wine Tasting & City Tour 3.5 Hours This combination excursion takes you from the natural environment of the mangroves to the historical landmarks of the city. Thanks for any input/feedback. MDSue Posted October 31, 2008 #2 Share Posted October 31, 2008 I can't help you with the other excursions, but on my trip to Belize [with Princess] we did the Altun Ha and river cruise. I really enjoyed this tour. You'll see alot of native wildlife and pretty scenery on the river cruise and Altun Ha was very enjoyable. If you want to buy any souvenirs - Belize has pretty wooden bowls and carvings, you'll get a better deal at the local shops next to the ruins then at the port stores. I really enjoyed this excursion- you'll get a real feel for the country
