Leigh-Anne V Posted October 31, 2008 #1 Share Posted October 31, 2008 I've seen the thread about not posting that you have one for sale, but I'm wondering what they are? We are on our first Alaskan cruise in August 2009 thanks, Leigh-Anne
Yukon Posted November 1, 2008 #2 Share Posted November 1, 2008 It's a discount coupon book - costs $100 but can save a pile of $$ IF you're going on a land trip before or after your cruise ( http://www.toursaver.com/ )
Leigh-Anne V Posted November 1, 2008 Author #3 Share Posted November 1, 2008 ahhh ... thanks! I don't think we're going to be doing much touring before the cruise though. Something to keep in mind though! thanks again
kenish Posted November 1, 2008 #4 Share Posted November 1, 2008 Toursaver does contain coupons for activities on the SE Peninsula. There is another coupon book, Northern Lights, that is a bit more land-oriented but half the price. Definitely check out their websites, they both have detailed information about the coupons. Depending on what you are doing, it may or may not be worth it.
plenox Posted November 1, 2008 #5 Share Posted November 1, 2008 It might not be useful if you are doing RT cruise. We looked at the toursaver last year. Unless we booked every excursion available at our port, we won't even recoup the cost of coupon book. But since we are doing one way this year, we may pick up one for some excursion in Seward and around Denali and Anchorage.
