travel with 18 year old teens

18 year olds will be able to go and do pretty much whatever they want, including gamble in the casino, and go to clubs, without you. You can also (if it is your child) give your permission for the 18 year old to purchase beer/wine if you would like.

I do think that there is one nightclub on a couple of the newer ships that is 21 and over, but other then that, they can go/do anything they want without supervision as they are considered adults on NCL ships.

Not sure that's really what you wanted to hear or not! LOL

It would be a good idea to have them leave cell phones at home and not use the ship phones for ship-to=shore calls because both are cost prohibitive unless you are independently wealthy. A good way to help them keep in touch with friends is to buy minutes at the internet cafe.

Unless they're twins, it sounds like one won't be your teenager. You may need to call NCL customer service to see if you can get a permission to drink beer form for the one that isn't your child that can be filled out by that child's parents before the cruise. I don't know if that's possible or not, but I would guess it is.

You can only fill out the form on board. They no longer allow you do this before you leave for the cruise.

I called before our cruise and our son's 18 year old friend could drink provided his parents signed a permission slip along with a copy of his driver's license so they could compare signatures. You go to the service desk and they give them a differennt ship card with a sticker. They also will only sell one beer at a time.(no buckets for under 21)
