RCCL/Mariner Cayman Dive Operator?

4 advanced scuba divers will be traveling on the Mariner of the Seas in December. Does anyone know who the diver operator is that handles Mariner of the Seas scuba excursions in the Caymans? Has anyone used the ships diver operator before, and if so, what did they think of the trip? Does the ship dive let you use your computers, or are the dives set times? Any info would be great.

We usually go with an independent operator, but not sure who to go with if we don't go with the ship.

Thanks in Advance!

If you go with the ship's excursion, you could almost leave the dive computers at home. You will be told what your bottom time will be.

If you are advanced divers, make your own arrangements IMO.

Bruce-r, yes, we are advanced divers. Can you recommend an operator for the Caymans? One that will let us use our computers and give us ample time between dives.

Thanks in advance.

Either do a shore dive at http://www.sunsethouse.com where you can do easily do your own dive or http://www.neptunesdivers.com There are other dive ops that will let you do your own dive, but often they leave too early in the morning for cruise divers to make their departure. Red Baron diving or Off the Wall divers might be worth contacting.
