Embre Posted November 11, 2008 #1 Share Posted November 11, 2008 Does anyone know if there is a way to find the military rate for a carnival cruise online? Everyone is discussing price drops and OBC's, but since I have no way, that I am aware of, to check the current military rate against what I paid I have no way of knowing if the price drops have effected the military rate as well. islndtme Posted November 11, 2008 #2 Share Posted November 11, 2008 My husband is in the military- we just call our Carnival Rep. Try the armed forces vacation club, or most military travel discount places offer cruises. We look for airline employee interline rates, and the military rates are usually similar to that. If you are on or near a base, check the ITT office, or google, but if you already have something booked, I would just call Carnival directly. jstrutton Posted November 11, 2008 #3 Share Posted November 11, 2008 Google the following "Military Cruise Rates" and select the first one that comes up. Then select the appropriate cruise from the selection in the middle of the screen. Then it will let you select military rate or senior citizen rates. It appears that some of the military rates have been going back up, but still these rates are very good. Hope it helps

cubdaddy Posted November 12, 2008 #5 Share Posted November 12, 2008 Cruise.com will allow you to check a box for Military. The prices they show are exactly what Carnival offers. So much easier than calling Carnival and writting it all down.

I was just on the phone with Carnival looking at the 11/1/09 cruise, and the military rate I was quoted, is exactly the same on the website :).
