Bolongo Beach

Anyone been to this beach? We like to snorkel and thought this might be nice. Any info would be appreciated.

Its ok, rocky beach in terms of the water area; the beach itself is sandy. Good restaurant and bar called Iggies on the beach.

We are currently vacationing in St Thomas for 10 days and staying at the Bolongo Bay Villas. Very nice resort. SOME areas of the beach are rocky, but snorkeling has been good. Not the best we've ever had, but good. We saw 2 huge turtles the other day and yesterday saw a baracuda - all fairly close to shore.

 

Not as beautiful as let's say Magens or Coki, but much more quiet if that is what you are looking for.
