Thye've cancelled my cruise

MrsWaldo - I would love to do a cruise on the Orion. From all I have heard it is a beautiful ship and certainly looks it from photos.

Silversea's representative called us ( 1:00 AM- mind you!) to explain why they canceled our Tahiti trip and try to convince us that changing to Artic destination would be beneficial to us.... Long winded telephone conversation that was mostly "one way" talking....on their side.... Money problems and non apologetic.

 

We decided since we all ( 4 of us) had back to back bookings ( over 24 days) on Prince Albert II Tahiti canceled by Silverseas we booked instead on the Orion.

 

Just took our deposit back and made a new booking. We will combine this cruise with an overland to wine country in Australia.

 

Boarding the Whisper in a couple weeks but have low expectations for this next cruise. Silverseas should gets it's act together soon or some of it's primary Venetian members are going to look elsewheres.

 

Our friends avid Silverseas cruisers will be joining us for this Dec. cruise as well but they are looking to try the Regent next year... too many disappointments by Silverseas.
