Getting to Bannister Island???

Hi all,

 

Is there a way to get to Bannister Island from Belize? I have checked out the websites online but they all seem to take you snorkelling and then back to Bannister Island. We just want to hang out at Bannister Island.

The tour from NCL leaves at 8:30 a.m. and is only 4 hours and we would like to stay there longer.

CORAL BREEZE TOURS has an excursion that takes you to Bannister Caye Island, and you have a choice of staying on the island, or continuing on to snorkel. I've read great reviews on this company. ;)

Thanks for the info. I wonder how this timing compares to the timing of the ships tours (w/ and w/out snorkeling).
