Has anyone been on an excursion to St. John from St. Thomas on RCC Adventure of the Seas? I wanted to know if when it docks at Trunk Bay if you have to swim to the beach or it lets you off right by the beach (I believe this is the champagne excursion.

We have done this excursion. Lots of fun. We took a bus from the doc at St. John's to Trunk Bay with sight-seeing along the way. Good snorkeling. Saw lots of fish and 2 stingrays. There is an underwater trail with markers(look like headstones) on the bottom that explains the types of fish you'll see and point you to the next marker along the trail. Nice beach with showers and a snack bar with beer. No chairs or umbrellas but there are shade trees.Believe it is some sort of a national park. Lifeguards there. Boat ride from St. Thomas to St. John's is fun with the captain pointing out celebrity homes along the way. Ride can be a bit choppy though. Overall I good excursion and I would do it again.
