Casino Question?

Please explain. Must you use your sign and sail card, or can you use plain ol' cash in the Carnival casinos. Thanks.

Cash is accepted everywhere in the casino.

There was a recent thread on this subject. They were saying that Carnival is trying to go cashless in the casinos. I do not believe it is fleet wide as of yet. Might want to check into it a little more.

You can always use cash in the casino, at the cage, slots and tables.

you cannot use cash on the electronic Texas holdem table. It is an electronic setup and you need to setup an account with the cashier, then give you a special card and then you use that card at the table. Other than that, cash is okay.

just got off the Miracle and in their casino you could put money into a slot machine or video poker machine to play. However, when you wanted to get your money out of the machine you had to put it on your sail and sign card. You then went to another machine...entered your secret code which they will help you get...and then after entering your code you could choose what amount you wanted to play on the machine.

 

If you ever wanted to get cash off your card you had to go to the cage.

you can load all your money off your card into the machine and cash out for coins...if there is very much this is best accomplished at the $1 or $5 machines

No it will go into your "player bank" if you so designate it. If you push cash out then the money will come out in coins. Once you put it into your player bank (and all these buttons are on the slot machines and pretty easy to follow) if you want that $40 you go to the cage with your card and they will deduct it from your player bank and give you cash. At no time will it go to your sail and sign account unless you physically take it to the pursers desk...the cash that is... Hope this helps

No, the $40.00 stays on the card, for future casino use; or you can cash out as usual, and take the coins to the casino cashier.
