Renaissance Eden Roc Resort And Spa--Miami

We just stayed there October 29th. We used Priceline (first time) and paid just under $100. An experienced Priceline user could have gotten it for under $60. Lesson learned for me.

As for the hotel, it's a great hotel. Wonderful beach access. Great pool and outdoor restaurant overlooking the ocean. Beautifully restored lobby bar. The room was very nice. New furniture and amenities.

However, since we did use Priceline, we got the worst location. We got the bottom floor in the corner. Our view was of the rooftop and other people's balconies. No view of the beach nor of the inland waterway.

Knowing I paid less than half the AAA rate, I accepted a non-view room, and would still recommend the hotel.

Good Luck

Oops - also, the taxi rate from the airport to the hotel should be $28. Our taxi from the hotel to the seaport was then about $30.
