Avalon Waterways Amadeus Symphony review

Recommended Posts

 We just returned from a very enjoyable cruise on the Symphony (pre cruise at a Mercure hotel near that Tower in Paris, and post cruise at the Prague Renaissance Hotel)! The weather was not great but acceptable, very little sun, some moist sprinkles and a bit cool, but all-in-all OK!:D

We had NO IDEA that there were THAT MANY locks in the world (we have been through that canal in Panama!)!

We were particularly impressed that Rudi Schreiner, the president of Avalon, joined us on the bus to Trier and stayed until Rudesheim while he ensured that the cruise was up to the standards that he had observed at the start of the season and in midseason!:D Check out travel news for a current review (although we heard that Avalon will have TWO new ships next year!)

Well, I suppose we should have converted our $ to Canadian so that we could get that great rate????? (Don't understand why $/Canadian is as it is and Euro/$ along with Euro/Canadian is as they are? How does one Win at this weird currency game?)?
