What is the 45 day letter?

I have tried the search for three days now, decided to post a new thread. What is the 45 day letter? Can you please explain, what you do and what you get from it? Thanks.

Hopefully... but either way, if anyone is going to send a letter, hopefully they are doing it with the right intentions. I really do hope this is something they have gotten away from, and I think they will find that the comments they get in the future are more genuine, accurate and detailed. With everything else they are cutting out, I hope this was the first thing they cut.
