Atlantis Aquaventure?

Has anyone booked the Atlantis Aquaventure through Carnival? We'll be there in late February with four kids ages 3-8. Was it worth the money for the time spent there or is another option better in Nassau? Thanks in advance.

You may be better off booking thru Comfort Suites, although you may need two rooms depending on your kids age. You can full access for up to 4 ppl in each room. There are tons of strings on this forum on how to do this..

Carnival charges quite a lot more for these aqua day passes, which you can be purchased in the Royal Tower Check in desk for $105per adult and $75 per child.

Not sure of your timing, but the pools close at 5pm in the winter, slides at 4;30pm - February can also be a bit cool, and not all the pools are heated.

Aquarium Passes can be purchased for $35pp/ $26 per child in the casino.

The (DIGS) Aquarium is included in the AquaPass, but can be purchased seperately as well.

Besides Atlantis, there are other hotels with beaches and pools (Cable Beach resorts), a small zoo (ardastra.com) a pirates museum, dolphin encounter and swims, Sea Lions (www.dolphinencounters.com) and stingrays at Blackbeards Cay.

It all depends on how much stimulation your kids need on a day trip.

The cruise lines add a surcharge for the trip==it is $105 per person but under 3 or 4 there isn't a charge--in the past they were not always guaranteed to be available based on hotel occupancy but likely now with the economy that may not be an issue.

Other option is to rent a room for one night at Comfort Suites but I think 4 is the occupancy for each room--they get full use of Atlantis facility==lots of info here on that--you basically check in--get your Atlantis wristbands and check out at the same time so you can make the best use of your time.

The number in your party may be a problem with the hotel depending on ages of your children.
