Which day(s) is the Marigot market open?

Picked up several references to the market in Marigot. Can anyone tell me which days it is set up? We will be there a week from tomorrow, and would really like to visit it. :rolleyes:

The big market in Marigot use to be on Wednesday. It was a weekly local seafood (just off the boat fish ), fruit, vegetables and spices type market. The last time I was there it seemed to be more of the same stuff you would see in St Thomas or Cancun or any other major cruise ship port, with a little bit of the old stuff. I think some of that Cancun type stuff is now there every day. It is amazing what so called progress and more and more cruise ships bring to the islands. They lose so much of their previous charm and become all the same!
