baxley Posted November 19, 2008 #1 Share Posted November 19, 2008 Hi, I have a question about the Renaissance....if you win a room on priceline....will they give you a non-smoking room or twin beds if you desire? Thanks.
coiran Posted November 19, 2008 #2 Share Posted November 19, 2008 The Ren is completely smoke free rooms. After you win on Priceline you can call the hotel directly and request two beds - you may or may not get them. Ron

Most likely Yes. It's in the hotels best interest to accomodate your request. Nothing is guaranteed. Even if you book directly with the hotel, they may need to give you whatever is available at checkin.

Solara Posted November 20, 2008 #5 Share Posted November 20, 2008 do they offer shuttle to pier or from airport to hotel is that a 3.5 or 4 star thanks No shuttle from the airport, take a cab. They do call a private shuttle to the pier for $6.00 per person just ask. It was better than a cab.
RealDeal Posted November 20, 2008 #6 Share Posted November 20, 2008 4-star. I won it on Priceline for $110 for 1/31. It's the only 4-star in downtown FLL on Priceline.
momtogo Posted November 22, 2008 #7 Share Posted November 22, 2008 Hi all, after reading many reviews for FLL hotels and checking rates for our pre-cruise hotel, I decided to try Priceline as suggested. Renaissance was among my top choices so hopefully we made the right decision. I ended up getting it for Feb 22, 09 for one night including tax and $5 trip insurance for $149. The rate on Marriott was $209 so it seems like a good deal. It will at least cover cabs from airport and to port and hopefully breakfast. Thanks for all the advice.
